Greetings from the south shore of Long Island.

We are 2 weeks shy of our annual boat week vacation Leaving 7/22. Our plan is FI Inlet to Essex, Essex to Newport, return to Montauk then home.

I'm looking for some local knowledge and advice about our run from Essex to Newport. i.e routes warnings advice etc..
