Extended Swim Platform

We have a 1992 370 Express w/ straight inboards and we are thinking of adding an additional swim platform this winter. Before ordering has anyone had experience with adding this especially with a configuration as such: water tank runs across the rear of the boat, it is actually shaped so that the top 3 inches of the tank fit into the space between the top and bottom of the molded platform. Also my genny sits in front of the water tank.

I am just wondering if anyone has taken this on with this same configuration.

Call swimplatforms.com see the 300DA in the pictures, that is us (or was us about 4 boats ago).

They make a fgreat product. It is the only one I'd reccommend.

Harlan Appel has one on his 25. I was shocked when he told me it was not factory.

I have a swim platform from them on my 1990 28' Searay Sundancer. I was able to put it on in 1 day. Its 4 summers old and it takes a beating. It still looks like new. Hopefully they make one for your boat Good luck

Unfortunately the water tank has to come out on your 370. It was installed prior to the deck going on and must be cut into pieces to gain the appropriate access to the transom. I know this first hand. I started with swimplatforms.com (who makes a great platform) and realized I would have to remove the tank. I ended up switching directions and installing a tntlift (hydraulic) because I could install the brackets below the tank.

Unfortunately, the following winter I decided more support was necessary for the lift and ended up cutting the tank out, reinforcing the lift and installing a smaller, 35 gallon water tank.

I am very happy with the configuration and like having direct access to the transom and trim tab connections.
