FINALLY!!!!! Pictures Added.

Good taste Mike......was out today and thought of stopping by but it was low tide.

Have a good one.

Very, very nice. Mabe you can post some from out back.

Mike -

Looks great! All it needs is a photo of you kicking back with a cold one on that beautiful porch.

Enjoy!

Yeah, I think you'll find that porch to be your favorite "room".
Very nice.

Thanks for all the compliments! Yeah, we've thought long and hard about every decision, and there are a hell of a lot of decisions to be made as anyone whose gone the "custom" route knows. Landscaping went in last week as well and the pics are attached:

The next 2 pictures are just some of our neighbors spending a Sunday afternoon, "chillaxing"!

C_Spray.... Chuck I still need to find out how to get "Me Too" close enough so that you and "The Little Ol' Winemaker" can visit by water!

I love the interior colors, Mike! Very warm and earthy.

Heh, no problem for me. I only need 18". When would you like a nice bottle of wine for a house warming?

Hmmmm... Chesapeake Bay forum BoaterED get-together in Still Pond this year???

Mike,
Great house, great location, I wish you and the Mrs the best, you deserve it, enjoy.

"Chillaxing"? I love it. New word for my vocabulary.

As for the 5 gallon foot rest, spring for the folding chair with the pop out foot rest. They're more comfortable and look better. After all the stress of construction, your Admiral deserves the best, right? Or at least paint the bucket to blend in more with the porch.[:-hspin]

Thanks once again!

Thanks but kudos go to the Admiral. Nancy, I had nothing to do with the interior colors (I'm a guy..what do I know about interior decorating beyond picking the TV and the "man chair".

Kurt, soon; very, very soon!

Tom, yeah, the Admiral and I came up with that one when we were deliberating over names for our first boat. We didn't use it on the boat but it became a regular part of our vocabulary. We may name the house "Chillaxing" or "One Particular Harbor".

Mike - tell us about your waterfront. Do I remember you having a dock there? How's your access to the outside world by water?

MikeeH: Sent you a PM. Does that work or would you prefer an email?

Yes, we have a floating dock that we share with a neighbor. I don't have a picture of the dock but here's a picture I took while standing on the dock:

Unfortunately, we only have about 4 feet of water max at high tide. Low tide is normally 2-3 feet but can be lower if the wind is blowing hard from the east. Once away from the dock and out of our cove there is plenty of water (5' at least but you need to know where to go to stay in the deeper water) We have direct access to the Chesapeake Bay; the mouth of Still Pond Creek is about 1.5 km west of our place.
