I really want to speed up my trip to various fire island places coming from west of Causeway. One channel I never try is Dickersons but I was looking at sattelite image and I think I see how to read this channel. So I think I will try it, any advice?
Also, I saw alot of boats cutting across after coming out of the west channel up by fire island. I looked at sattelite again, and I think they are crazy. I always hook west of the green/red can then cut back north, then south, they were going straight across from the green red and sattelite shows 2 huge sand bars there!
Finally, if your going to Flynns, is it better to run dickersons or stay north and then cut south through what I think is called the range channel? This goes east of those 2 islands.
