Does anyone have any experiance with the Fire Island Inlet conditions since it was dreaged and the markers moved? I'll be coming through on a trawler with a 4.5' draft and concerned with low water.
 
So, I did get this response from another site which answered my question and for anyone concerned with running the inlet..."10-12 ft minimum in marked channel with most areas at 18 ft. They did a good job job dredging, just follow the buoys"
 
I've been through a couple times this season and no issues with water depth, don't think I saw anything less than 11-12'.
