Fire Island Question

Ok… Finally I now know where this place is…. But yes you need to watch your approach. Seems once you head south from the Green Private marker you need hug the shore line to the marsh? Any more tips?

That looks very difficult to get in to especially where the water depth is only 4 ft. I think i would have to follow someone in before I tried that on my own. Looks like a good spot though.

With my draft of 4'2", it would seem to eliminate this option for me.

I don't know what Bruce draws.
 
i'm a terrible artist and try not to draw if at all humanly possible. as for the boat, 38". believe it or not, one of my early spring projects is to install a depth gauge since the boat doesn't have one. as mark said, we have plenty of water in the sound if you stay away from shore and the few hazards listed on the chartplotters and charts.
