Does anyone have a link or know where I can get info on when the various towns on the Hudson have scheduled their fireworks this year? I'm particularly interested from Tarrytown to Kingston. I've heard Kingston is doing them Sunday nite (7/1), but not sure of the others. Thankis!

West Point should be doing something July 4th, and Bowdoin Park will have a display August 5th. Newburgh should also have something around the middle of August.

Kgn normally has fireworks the weekend before the 4th. Rondout Yacht Basin is the place to be if you are not at the Kgn town docks. Check the Kgn web site.

Boating on the Hudson is a good source for this information, make sure you pick up a copy each month.

Well here goes the list, will add as I get them...
So Far:

Bear Mountain is Friday..June 29.

I hear bowlines are the 3rd and Im guessing that peekskill will be the 4th...

Hey Butch,

We were at Washington's HQ in Newburgh yesterday and saw a boat looking suspiciously like your's going South at about 1:30PM.

Was that you?

Bob, How you doing? We where sorry to hear you were unable to come back. Hope all is well....
No we ended up going to Bowline for a couple of hours. The oldest son had to work and the other one left for Vegas for a seminar so it was just Caryl and myself. We rafted up with a couple of other boats with there families and just soaked up the sun and did a little swimming.

Hey Butch,
Yeah, we are quite disappointed.
Heck, I even spoke to Jimmy about brokering the boat so we could perhaps get into something a bit different.
The guys were good enough to fit us in and, as it turns out, we will have no time to use the boat this summer. Peg's Dad is quite ill and she is with him 4 of 5 days a week.

Consequently, we sold the boat at a loss just today.
Perhaps next year we will get into something smaller so we can enjoy the company of our "Hudson buddies".

But, for right now, all bets are off.

Until then, be thankful for what you have, keep safe and enjoy life to the fullest.

Later.

Bob & Peg.

Hey Bob, sorry to hear you had to let the boat go. I hope things work out well for your family, and that you are able to return to the water lifestyle ASAP!!!

Godspeed, my friend...
