Hi all, I am looking at buying my first boat, 1989 stingray open bow. 3.0 merc, Alfa outdrive. I found a rubber tube in the outdrive was torn badly. After 30 minutes on the water; the boat was loaded back on the trailer and the bottom plug removed. There was 3 to 5 gallons of water that drained out. Should I keep looking or is this a repair that was due in time, and if repaired will last a long time?? Also is this $$$$.
