Well, Saturday turned out to be spectacular. I cruised up to B & W where I met up with some friends, then we headed up Georgiana Slu. The currents were strong. According to my GPS I lost 3-4 mph due to the current. Clearance under most of the bridges was 10 ft which was suffient, but much less than I'm used to.

We lunched at Alma's in Walnut Grove. The folks were so nice: they allowed me to bring my Maltese pup into the resturant, PFD and all. The food was really good to.

The return trip down the Sacramento River was much faster! 1 hour vs 3. I did ding my prop but fortunately it wasn't bad enough to have to call Vessel Assist! I was able to make it all the way to my slip. In the afternoon the skies looked somewhat threatening, but I didn't get even one rain drop.

All in all a lovely trip and a great beginning to the new boating season!
