The Marina called, told me I was in earlier this week.
We went down, preped what needed to be preped (Marina does a lot of it) I only had to flush out the water antifreeze and refill.
We headed out, once I got on plane the Admiral told me I had smoke coming out of the "back", I powered down, and saw nothing.
I had checked fluid levels, oil etc prior to leaving the dock.
I shut off the engines, popped the hatch and saw nothing out of the ordinary. I told her it probably had something to do with hot engines, cold water (Shrug)...anyway, it stopped after a minute. From what she said, it was coming off the water just outside the prop.
Now, right side amp meter isn't registering. I flicked the glass...and she popped up to norm.
All is good, we headed south on the Potomac, just cleared the power lines south of Featherstone park and hit rain....grrrr..
Headed back in ahead of whatever was coming. Had to abort docking only once as I was to far out....but second attempt settled her snuggly in her slip.
We spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning her up. Lots of pollen accumulated on the glass. We got all the glass cleaned, cleaned the dirt depodits on the walk-around and polished all the rails.
Not a bad Easter Sunday so far. Now awaiting company (Daughter and her fiance) for dinner.
