One good thing about being out east is I think the fishing A holes don't know how to go that far east . I bet the locks is what keeps them out .. Like they cant figure out how to lock tru.....
the reason you don't see them out east is because, apparently, they ONLY know how to fish in the middle of marked, narrow (the narrower the better), channels which basically stop at the Shinnecock Bridge...that acts like a natural barrier for them.
One of the first threads I read here gave me the impression the fishing was best when held in place with a pole anchor and that it was actually the big hatteras types that were the aholes
