hey everyone,

I have never fished in florida (Miami area) off shore. What kind of fish can I catch there and what do I use.

Dolphin, King Mackerel, sailfish,etc...and I would recommend a charter boat...they would have everything you would need and the knowledge...bottom fishing permit, snook, grouper, pompano, etc...
Great place to wet a line, enjoy!
 
Dolphin, King Mackerel, Sailfish, Wahoo, Marlin, are most sought after offshore. Sharks and barracuda are more nuisances but are fun to catch. Grouper, snapper, and many more reef species near shore.
