Installing new radar (furuno 1732c) and the plugs at either end will not fit through my radar arch. One end has 3 finger plugs that attach to radome and the other has the typical pin connector that attches to the unit.
Furuno FAQ says do not cut this cable as it includes many wires including video cable which is very hard to splice.
Is there some trick here?
Why they wouldnt make the wire so it can be fished is hard to understand since everyone needs to do it. Furuno says a "dealer" is capable of cutting the wire - is that the trick-there is no way to avoid using a dealer?
