Vic, Several questions re LECTRA/SAN MC control panel:

1) How fast is Fast flash on amber light vs
Slow flash ?

2) Why would amber light flash intermittently
during cycle ?

3) What's difference between low voltage flash
on amber light vs low voltage on red light?

I've never had a flashing red light ever;
on constant only

Hi Bob,

Slow flash = 1 once per second; fast flash = twice per second.

Intermittent amber flashing means salt content of flush water from toilet is a little on the marginal side. Now that the water is getting colder, that intensifies it. Try throwing a shot glass full of dry table salt into the toilet bowl with each flush. After a dozen or so flushes, you should begin to see an improvement.

Low voltage flash with the amber light means that the voltage is just a little marginal. When the red light comes on, indicating low voltage, it means that the voltage is REALLY low (usually below 10 volts).

Check your battery connections, particularly the terminal clamps on the battery(ies) for corrosion.

Bob,

Vic explained it very well as usual. I would suggest getting an owners manual for your Lectra/San as it explains everything about the system. If you can't find yours, you can download one from the Raritan web site.
