I am planning my first spring project for immediately after spring launching. The task will involve ripping out all the waste hoses on my 40' Silverton aftcabin and replacing the stuff with PVC pipe.
There are two heads in the boat, one foward and one aft. The heads are at about the same level as the base of the holding tank but the hose has to rise at least 2' for the run to the tank.
I thought about adding PVC check valves near each head to prevent any reverse flow. I don't seem to get any reverse flow now so maybe check valves are not needed...... maybe I should install them anyway even if there are Crowns have them.
