A friend has asked for a recommendation for this Friday night. It will be a group of 3-4 couples looking for some waterfront music and cocktails, maybe an app but not dinner. The group age range is 40-55. Mid/mid-upper range pricing. If you are aware of a cover charge, please advise.

Rachaels is good, but they didn't want dinner adn I am not sure they have entertainment!
 
EB Elliot's, good bar scene, no cover charge and live music on the barge out back. Plenty of good spots to hang and listen.
 
Tonight may be a washout except for indoors. I like Hudson and Mccoy's for music and drinks, food is good too. EB Elliots for food and bar. Rachel's has very good food but a small bar and deck. The Schooner has a rep for very good food with a D.J. on weekends. Best thing to do is park where you can, walk end to end and plant yourselves by whatever catches the eye.

You can easily do an old fashioned pub-crawl there too. alan
