I have determined the water I have been pumping out of the bilge is coming from the fresh water tank. The plumbing that leads to and from the tank is located on the top and not suspect. As near as I can tell the tank must have a hole in the bottom somewhere. I would guess some type of abrasion. Without knowing for sure I ask this question. Can the poly tanks be repaired? Or, will it need a replacement? It looks to be a few hour job to remove and replace the tank and I want to be prepared to handle it before starting.

Well, ya can't glue poly cause nothing sticks to it. And I've heard that melt-welding it
results in cracking later on.

If it were me, I'd replace the tank and make sure it's mounted so it won't fail through
rubbing or lack of support etc.

Some day I hope to learn how to form my questions that get more responses! The same question, but written better, was asked in the ask the captian forum with more responses. This sent me to a local shop that says he is quite often successful in repairs that may only cost the same as the shipping cost of a new tank. Finding out from Doral about who made the tank and what the material is will help to insure success!
Thanks Pete
