Fridge Vibration

Have a 1988 Carver 3227 Convertible. When the fridge kicks on it vibrates rattling items inside and making the surounding cabinet sound like its being drilled with a dull bit. Any suggestions or solutions?
 
mine does the same thing, if I open the lower cabin door and push it open against the fridge it goes quiet. not a fix but it does work
 
I have a 85 3227 and if I pull a little on the power outlet cover on the right side by the sink it stops.
 
Mine drove me crazy last year (Norcold DE-451 unit). It was due to the coolant lines on the back of the thing vibrating around and banging into something back there. So I did my contortionist impression and reached in with some zip ties. Skinned the hell out of my hands to get into the right position, but it paid off, I finally managed to loop the ties around the coils and get enough pressure on them to pull them apart and stop that damned noise!!!
 
Thanks for all the feedback. I tried both methods suggested above and WALAA! the noise stopped! Been listening to it for the last two seasons, thinking the compressor is going bad and I'm staring at the $900 tab for a new one. Fris is still cold as ever....and now, quiet too!
 
Its amazing what a little improvisation will do, eh prop???

One time some network guys were doing some cable installation at our office, and the reels they were using were incredibly squeaky and noisy as they pulled on the wires. My boss was trying to eat her lunch, and it was driving her crazy, and the men said they had no oil to use. So she took matters into her own hands, and lubricated those pulleys with the BUTTER from her sandwich. They were nice and quiet after that!!!
 
Yeah...I call it 'McGivering'. Based on the old TV show where McGiver is able to repair the engines on a 747 with just a paperclip, some duct tape/chewing gum & a ballpoint pen refill!!
 
So---I had to to take my air conditioner out of my 3227. To get it out you need to take the fridge out. While it was out I took a look at what had been vibrating. On the back of the fridge there are two tanks that have a adjusting screw at the bottom. If you tighten that screw it pushes against the rubber grommet that fix's the vibrating. (not that the pushing lower cabin door against it like i had earlier stated wasn't just as good) this seems to be more of a permanent fix.
