Dave aka ABSOLOOT.....Great picture of your son skiing yesterday. It is in the Contra Costa Times today. Not sure where you are located. I have a copy here at work if you need it. I was there briefly early, buthad to go recover a swamped boat at thr Mothball Fleet. I did hear that is was a good turn out.
 
I was there and saw Daniel skiing in person! What a great kid he is. After his turn, Dave and his wife invited me to join them on their boat to watch more skiers. What a great spot! The cockpit of his boat was just about aligned with the dock where the skiers jumped into the water. Thanks, Dave and family.

Burrrr it was 47* water, but beautiful, sunny and flatwater! The skiers continued til well after 2PM. I saw VA Phil heading out to his call....wondered what was going on.....

It was fun to see lots of folks who haven't been up since last summer. All in all, a great way to start a new year!!!

Thanks for the offer! I got a phone call this morning from a friend so I rushed out and bought a bunch of papers. Needless to say we are very proud of Daniel. The best part is that he will have gone water skiing and snow skiing in the same week since we are heading up to Tahoe on Thursday. What great pictures of Daniel! He is really enjoying himself. I know he was so proud to be successful and that is written all over his face!

Have fun in Tahoe. There should be fresh snow by then.
 
What a brave young man! And to have a smile that big, knowing how cold it is? Man, what a brave soul...that's so cool.
