Fuel consumption 2003 carver 36 SS

Friend of mine buying 2003 36 SS with 8.1 volvo inboards, moving it from Wilmington NC to Annapolis, MD in 2 weeks. Anybody have an idea of how much fuels she will burn and hour, what cruise speed is ? Trying to help him plan his trip.

Cruising speed (depending on water) should be 26 to 28 MPH at 3600 to 3800 RPM. Burn should be in the low 30's per hour

(oh by the way - we also have the Volvo 8.1's)
