Leaking Fuel tank repaired with internal fuel bladders

This was Posted in the Carver FB page and maybe of value to some:
“Heads up if you own a 1990 thru 1995 Carver 440 aft cabin, I now know of 4 that have sever fuel tank leak, the cost to replace is over $20,000, I found a company in Florida that make internal fuel bladders which will run $3500 installed."

Horw can you put bladders in a tank with baffles? Or did carver not use baffles in their tanks?

All marine tanks,afaik,have baffles to prevent fuel from sloshing around making it impossible to use bladders

I had to replace the tanks in my '86 Mariner, the first tank I had the boatyard do the replacement because it required pulling the engine. The 2nd one I did myself and when I took the tank to the fabricator, he told me after the fact that there were no baffles in the tank...which I found baffling. My current 30 yr. old Carver Santego has original tanks and if there are no baffles, that would be a godsend to be able to stick a bladder in it and be done with it-from my observation, engines would have to be removed to pull the existing tanks.
