I have the centroid electronic senders in a 36' Regal, and wondered if any body had changed them out to the WEMA mechanical senders? The centroids are 3 wire and the WEMA's are 2 wire, so anybody got some pointers or preferences?
 
I use a Centroid, and have no problem with it. Are you having a problem, or just want to spend money to get rid of a third wire? (It's only a ground wire)
 
The centroids are 10 years older than yours, and wondered if anyone had had any problems with them, and no a "third" wire is not an issue! If I was asking that, I wouldn't need help from the majority of the good technical boaters in this forum!
 
I just checked Centriod's web site, and, unfortunately, there is only a 2 year warranty. (Doesn't seem very long for a seemingly well built unit that has no moving parts)

Therefore, in your case, which you HAVEN'T said that you have a problem with it, you could replace with another Centriod or WEMA.
