What is everyone's take on the gas and fuel prices on the river this season?
Some say same as last year, some say higher.

I think we may see a bit lower. Prices at the pump are roughly 10% less than last year at this time.

Hey I can always hope right?

It doesn't matter what we think they will be, what matters is what they actually ARE.

Once the season starts, I'm going to try to enlist everyone's help and post current prices each week.

I'd rather see you post the weekly results for police reports in the area.

well actually he will be...gas prices should be on the police plotters daily...

Sib, there is no crime where we boat.

Diesel on the street is higher than last year no?

JL

$2.05 dropped at the boat while on on the slings during the bottom cleaning & painting

I think diesel on the street is lower than it was last year at this time, but don't remember for sure. I noticed diesel did not go up with the recent increase in gas prices and is now cheaper than gas (at least the higher grades), like it used to be.

They are really hosing us on diesel. It costs so much less to refine. What a rip!

I justed checked my companies fuel surcharge from this year to last and the surcharge is down 2% this year.

Yeah, took the 391 for a 2.5 hours run from Kent Island to Bear, De. Very nice. Very comfortable.

Diesel is 2.56 US/ gal here as a truck drop at the slip
3.60 at the marina next door
We have 4 of us that will call the truck in and make it really worth his while to come here.
He will come for me alone anyway as it is the same guy that fills our construction equipment at the site and he almost drops as much fuel for me as he drops for our excavator, dozer and loader combined.
