Going to St Michaels MD

Coming from sassafras river to St Michaels is it quicker to stay in bay and go around or go threw kent narrows bridge. I need to have the bridge open to get threw.

By far it's much shorter to go through the Narrows. Keep in mind when heading South into the Narrows you will need to note a new green marker to the left of the perm. red marker halfway down the narrows. The old red marker is now marked SHOAL and is very shallow. You should have plenty of water if you draw less than 5'. The bridge opens on demand every 30 minutes, hail him on 13 about 5 minutes before the half hour for passage.
