Gonna Freeze for a few nights...anyone worried?

Has anybody heard stories of any damage to any boats from the cold snap a week or so ago?

Just a couple of small PVC pipes broken in our marina. Nothing heard about any boat damage.

No I don't think there has been any damage to report. However, wait until all those boats stored on trailers are put into the water for the first time this year and the owner discovers it won't run.......then we might be hearing things!

Thanks Dave, Chris and I enjoyed the picture and the articles. Wow, I bet it was cold.

I learned at Air Force water survival that when my body hits any body of water under 98.6, I am now trying to heat the ocean.

Brrrrrrr.

Brave young man...

I was dirt bike riding (motorcycles) in the high sierras about 30 years ago when we had a steep hill in front of us and another group was slowly making its way down. One guy only had one arm. We all watched in amazement as he made it. From that I started practicing until I
could ride with one hand. Where there is a will, there is a way........

One more quick side comment on the insurance thing....I know a lot of boats sink in the slip, what I wanted to drop was the liability type..collision type insurance, not comprehensive. THEN again, with our current thru WB, if anyone messed with my lines, my boat COULD damage the guy behind me.

Just leave well enough alone........

I do not have comprehensive [15 yr old boat w/o loan], but I maintain liability insurance. In fact my marina requires my showing proof of liability. I bet WB does too!
