Ok so I posted a week or so ago about my holding tank being full, the boats already shrinkwrapped. I ended up using 20' of 1/2" rubber hose I had and connected it to a FLO-JET pneumatical liquid pump. Worked like a charm. However when all of the "liquid" was pumped out, it looked like there was about 1" of more liquid. However it was a silt (very stinky) that couldnt be pumped out. It appears that between now and the last pumpout I had (1 1/2 months ago) that the tank settled and now I have 1" of poo silt on the bottom of the tank! What do I do to get this out in the spring? Pump out, flush with fresh water, pump out and so on until its gone?
