Guys- Just an update from last year. As you may recall, I bought a boat that was in real need of TLC. I got great assistance from the folks here and was able to get great results resurrecting the gelcoat and re-striping. I thought I would share a before and after pic or two.

Wow....nice job snake. I'm just wonderin if you could effect the same result on my '89 Santego with the blue gel coat? I'd be willing to pay ya 2-3 cases of beer....maybe even a dinner on top if my blue could come close to your red.
 
Looks great! Our last boat was an '89 Montego 2157. Our red stripe looked exactly like yours in the first picture. I was able to get it looking ok, but never did as good as you did.

LBYC, I know that place well. I will see if we can spot your boat next time we make it down that way, if it ever warms up!!!
