I'm ready for spring...
14 degrees this morning - but the current and tide's got the river open so maybe it's a kayak kinda day... But even the neighbors across the way looking into the morning sun look cold...

Hey it's warming up a bit lately. Starting to see the grass again in RI. I'm sure there is a lot of snow yet to come but it's a break at least.

It's sunny and 90 degrees where I am right now.

I promise a warmup on Monday. At least in the 40's! ;-)

I unzipped the wrap the other day and sat in our boat with the kids talking about the upcoming season. Snow is melting, we have grass in our yard again, and it's in the 40's during the day. Now why do you have to go and throw a jinx like that?!

No fears - I'll catch up after diet season! I'm sorta on the Rono program. Got power and cable running across the yard to the boat and a small heater inside that keeps it at about 74 degrees. Two fridges keep the necessary supplies chilled and the microwave is fully operational. It's turned into the perfect "man cave." CJ keeps asking about the "fire pole" I had installed tho... And where I'm spending all those dollar bills... I don't think she's falling for the "auditioning crew" line!

My boat tarp has been hit by two different branches in the last week. The winds have been really gusting this winter.

I've had it with this weather, heading to Miami for a week where boats are floating and the sun is actually warm!!

We'll be heading there, too...but not until early March. Looking forward to the warm boating waters.

Somebody want to photoshop my picture into Hogan's photo? I'll be there in 645 hours. But who's counting?

Riverbed, enjoy the trip. Take your friends to Anna Maries - it's a new place near Caribbean Palm Village. It's the back of a house, you need to ring the bell and they come around and get you. Madame Jeanettes is also great.

Thank you Squire - exactly what I was looking for!
