Is there a graphics artist in the area to do my transom? I don't want to go the online route as it's a crap shoot. I'd rather have a pro with experience order up the set after looking at the boat and making suggestions.

I believe there is someone on the wrong side of the river as opposed to the right side, where I live ;)

Any experience? What do y'all folks do?

are you looking for paint, or vinyl?

I think vinyl works fine...but really have no preference. What's the benefits of each?

Call Tristan at 845-298-5600...he is doing my boat....tell him you know who told you to call!! An tell him you are family, let's see what that gets you :)

Try McCaffrey Signs in Peekskill - 737-7979. He's done several boats in our yacht club. He did mine by copying a design from a t-shirt and putting on vinyl. Does great work.

Bob

Thanks Bob, I just called them and will most likely go with Mc Caffrey!

I used Sign-O-rama in West Nyack. He did a great job on my boat and a few other boats. Keith was his name IIRC.

Chris, Let me know how it turns out. I maybe needing some of that service for myself fairly soon.

Al, what gives? You can't leave us hanging like that!! Do you need the name of a good surveyor?

Al, is there something else in the works...Could it be you may be a B docker....

Chris, Isabelle and i are sea-trialing a repowered 1985 Mainship 36 Nantucket double cabin MY. In the next week or so, the boats in Norwalk CT. Where hoping to close on it in the next week or so.

Butch, Sorry to say where going to have to keep her at Viking for the 1st season. Its very hard for isabelle to get back and forth to work from Penny Bridge. Being close to the train on this side of the river makes it alot easyer on her. We still have the wonderful ancorage areas to get together in. Im looking forward to it very much.

Congratulations Al, sounds like a big move up, enough so you can use the present boat as the tender. How about a new thread dedicated to it, with some pictures and a full description, you gotta feed the population here [:-bigmouth]

Really Al, c'mon, no teasing!

Congratulations!! You should have little problem selling the old boat. From my experience with the Sunrunner, what people wanted was clean and trailer-able. Your boat is both!

Thanks George, Congratulations to you too. That is one fine boat you have now.. Ill try my best to get a little time to get something up here for you guys. Shes on yacht world now showing sale pending. The boats in Norwalk ct.

Chris, Im not trying to tease anyone (promise). Ive just been so busy to where i can't seem to take a little time for myself right now. Ive already completed a hull inspection on her. There where a couple of issues with the exhaust system for the Jenny that needed to be cared for before sea-trial. Im hoping all will be ready for the middle of next week or the 1st of the week after. I started a thread on the marine surveyor forum to see if there are any Mainship owners around who can give me a little extra insight on this boat.

I already have someone wanting the Bayliner if he can come up with the money. I have to agree with you. I don't think it will last long on the market once i pull the trigger to sell.
