Great boating day yesterday (well, not for sailors). Near 70, no wind, nary a ripple in the water. Ran over to St. Michaels and anchored right by museum. Was surprised at the number of boats that came in for lunch, etc. Got back to Kent Island at dusk and had a traffic jam coming into marina channel.

Sure hope to get a few more of those weekends in before it gets to cold to go out. Here's hoping Thanksgiving week/weekend weather will hold out!

Yep, I was out with a neighbor as he skied in Still Pond. Beautiful day when its November 15th and you can still waterski.

I also went to St. Michael s museum on Sunday and was surprised not to see more boats there on such a perfect day for yachtsman. Had the whole "G" dock to myself. Current added 1.2 knots going back to West River with a beautiful sunset.

We went to St. Mikes as well. Tied up near the Crab Claw. Went to lunch over at the Crab and Steak house. Sat outside and the weather was perfect. When we got back to the boat the docks were 6 inches underwater. It would be niece to get another weekend like the last 2 sundays...

Van,

I think you may have been the boat that followed me in. I was behind a trawler and just got into the channel ahead of you. Do you have a blue hull?

Brad,
No I have a black hull, I went in just for a ride. It was to nice so I was waisting time. I turned around where the travel lift is and waited for 3-4 boats go by before I exited. You may have been one of them. It was just before sunset. I live in Oyster Cove so we are only a short ride to Mears. I used to be on P dock

Ok, We used to be on P dock also, about 2 years ago (Silverton 330). I think you were 3 or 4 boats behind, I think I saw you puttering around the Mears gas dock when we went by to go into the channel and to our slip. By the time you came in, I was already in the slip, and washing it down. If it was you, you had 4 or 5 people on when you went by. I am hoping for 1 or 2 boating days this weekend.

Life is good in MD when you can take the boat out in November. It's 67f in the cockpit right now (and we've got it open). We're in downtown Baltimore for the evening as we've got tickets to the Ravens game tomorrow. We were going to spend two nights (head home on Monday), but the weather isn't looking very nice. Thus, we'll probably try and beat the sunset home on Sunday after the game ("overtime" anybody?). Here's a few of shots. It was a very nice ride.

At least we're on the "A List" somewhere!

#0*%%#)#$ Ravens! We were so disgusted we made a break for it just as it was getting dark.
Those darn cruise ships are pretty fast.

Out both days this past weekend. Saturday went up the Wye and anchored in Shaw Bay. Windy but protected bay so not bad at all. Sunday went up the Chester and anchored out by Langford bay. Calm, warm day. mmmmmm, I guess it is now time to winterize and save fuel!
