to work on the forward sump pump. Geez this weather sucks. Rain or stop, this drizzle is like living in a cloud. Hope it's better next weekend.

It's been horrible. Just got back from an overnight camping trip with my son's Boy Scout Troop. Started raining after lunch yesterday, and just kept going. Camping is no fun in the rain.
The good part is that at least I didn't miss out on a good boating weekend.

The weather forecasters need to upgrade their process for getting accurate information. We drove Friday to NJ for a wedding of two very special friends, Tom and Lisa, also, boaters Serenity Now. The sun was shining with no indication of what was ahead. Only clouds predicted for Saturday. Since this was an outdoors wedding at a B&B called Whistling Swan Inn, Stanhope NJ, we all were watching weather apps on our Smartphone’s. All setup and ready for the Bride and Groom to take the stage in the garden. Long story short, that changed real quick and we all scrambled to get everything and everyone one moved on to the very large wrap around pouch. All turned out great, but the ride hope was not a pleasure… Clouds with possible showers became a washout.

Our first weekend on the boat. In spite of the crumby weather my wife and I are happy to be on the water, even though it seems like we a stuck in a rain cloud.

John.....Your right.....camping in the rain suks. We left Florida 4 weeks ago for our 6 month trip in the motorhome. We had a few rain days so far......but today ( somewhere in Georgia ) was the WORST. ALL day heavy rain... thunder and lighting......makes a LONG day. :(

Don,

Your accommodations might make it a bot easier to suffer through it though.
Mine were a small tent, lantern, and sleeping bag.

Yeah.....I guess that's true.........but we lost our satellite TV connection too. ( just kiddin ) :)
