My wife rented a house on Pleasant Lake in upstate NY. It's nice and quite, but not much to do. I just drove 10 miles to get interenet access just to get the weather. I'd swap with Big Pat in a heartbeat.

We'll be back at the boat either Sat or Sun. See you then.

Beautiful area. I grew up hanging out on Sacandaga Lake (right accross rt 8) there in Speculator every summer. Enjoy the lakes, do some fishing, go to King of The Frosties and the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake is worth the drive!
 
Now I'd swap with you!! Just got home, will be here 12 hours and on to Wisconsin tomorrow. Marco was great!!
 
I'm back! It was actually pretty nice being so secluded. This is the first vacation I can remember where I had my cell phone off the entire trip. I still felt like we were busy the whole time.

Horse back riding, kayaking, row boating, fishing, water sliding...

I'm pooped. I'm looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight, the beds at the rental house were small and crappy matresses.
