Ah I feel so good. Sat on my boat for about an hour today. Was able to take some measurements that I needed and then just relaxed. Unfortunately there where no cold brews on the boat but just sitting there looking at the blue sky, no wait a minute, that was the shrink wrap. No mater it sure lifted my spirits. I figure another 2, maybe 3 weeks and off comes the shrink wrap and Caryl can get working on the boat.

Now you should have seen me trying to walk on the ice in the parking lot to get to the boat. You would have thought I had more than a few brews.

Mike, where were you...

Great minds think alike!!

I must have just missed you, Butch!

Are you both smokin something... It was soo cold out today that when I P'd it came out like icicles. [:-shake]

I liked it better when I was on the boat Wednesday. It was about 50 degrees and feeling real good. I too, took my cushions off to start making new ones. I am putting in an order for new Ultra Leather. Ouch, I do not want to see the bill for that material. [:-banghead]

It was actually hot under the shrink wrap, was working in a T shirt. But then, just being on the boat warmed me up. Better than that 3 letter word. Now they are saying 3 to 7 inches of snow with the possibility of heavy snow. Hey maybe its the last one.

Hey Butch,
I was there Wednesday securing my slip for 2007 (C-11).
It was beautiful and I took a walk around the place (as best I could).

It's sure going to be good being back.

So those were YOUR footprints in the snow...

Sorry we missed you, what time where you there? We also ended up walking around trying not to slip on the ice. Had to walk out and look at the docks and the river. It shouldnt be long and they will be starting to get the docks ready. C11, I think that is facing the shore. Same fareway we are on.

35 days and counting....

Mike,
As soon as I complete mine I will look at yours if you like. This way you can see if my stitches are straight or not, plus if it looks good. I should take before and after pictures of mine.

Butch,
I was there at about 1:15-1:30 and stayed only about 45 minutes.
C-11 is on the other side of the dock and in the next fairway. That's good though because we can see your boat and will know when to invite ourselves over to join the Governor's 'B' dock gatherings (don't forget, we were there 1st................).
BTW, do you remember the time we sank the end of 'B' dock because we had so many people on it for a Bar-B-Que?

But seriously; I am happy the fairway between 'C' and 'D' is wide. I can remember too many times I had to jump to the Bow of our Ray to fend-off ill-managed boats trying to get into the slip (remember Harvey and his escapades with his Mariner?).

After I typed the above Caryl told me I had the wrong side. That's what I get for not listening to her. Yes we remember the time. Jack talks about it all the time when we talk about memories. And I well remember Harvey's docking. We have some friends that are new to boating just a couple slips down from you. As I have said before, your always welcome over to B dock. The more the merrier.

Thanks Butch.

I remember one specific time Harvey decided one of the boats near his slip needed better ventilation and put his pulpit through the Salon side port of it.

And another when I had to jump from the dock to his swim platform to take the Helm away from him.

His son Simon, on the other hand, was pretty good for a young teenager.

Ask Jack about the time we all went to CT and slipped just off a very narrow Fairway.

This is the stuff legends are made of.
