Just wanted to wish a happy Thanksgiving to all of my bay and delta neighbors.

Cat, I envy you! I've not yet been released by my doc to travel and I know going to the boat would not be a good thing to do yet, but I sure do miss it and my Delta friends!

But I count my blessings as I continue to get better. My daughter and granddaughter stopped by for a visit today. They brought me a complete home cooked turkey dinner with all the trimmings! Yummy. Now I'll have left overs---the best part of a turkey dinner!
 
I'm still full from a great dinner at Mom's house. Spent the day yesterday pulling our crab traps out of Half Moon Bay for two nice limits of jumbo Dungeness crab, threw back almost as many commercial sized ones too. I hope everybody enjoyed a happy Thanksgiving surrounded by their family and friends.

Liz, glad to hear you are on the mend. I've been away a lot with the new job, so I didn't even know you were ailing. What did the docs have to do to you and when will you get a full release? Hope you are back 100% soon!
 
Thanks, Dave. I had to have some major surgery----they split me open like I was a trout!!!! But things are getting better everyday. I'm hoping to be able to get back to the boat for the Lighted Boat Parade on Dec 8 at Bethel Island. For now, I'm just getting lots of beauty sleep ;>)~~~~
