I had mentioned to the office at the end of last year that there was a pole that didn't appear to have a purpose in my new slip this would force me to tie up 2 feet away from the main. I was not expecting this but was pleasantly surprised when I stopped by my new slip yesterday and found that they had pulled the pole. Although I haven't gotten there yet, they are quickly winning me over. The office staff have been very pleasant to deal with, I'm sure I will be very happy in my new home:)

Sounds like they are becoming very attentive to what the customers needs are. That pole would have given you a problem all year and they went out of their way to make the customer happy. Kudos to them.

Maybe they are getting the word that good service sells..........

Is your son working there again? My Daughter is getting her certificate real soon I was hoping she could get a job there as well.

Dave,
I was at Haverstraw in 2005 0r 6, really liked the place, no restaurant then, they had a fire. Best of luck being there, like your post about them catering to you, how great is that?

When I was 13 back in the 70's my parents bought their first boat and kept it at Haverstraw. We spent several years there, two boats later they decided to move out to the Sound in the 80's and Join Huntington Yacht Club in the early 90's.

I spent one summer working at the Bayliner dealership at Haverstraw back when I was 16 so I guess it feel a little like returning home. Everyone has been real friendly when I visit I hope this continues I have grown tired of some of the attitudes at my last place.

Yep, Tim is there. They say that they always need lifeguards, have her apply once she is certified.

So today was the big day launched the boat and moved into my new home so far so good!
