Went there by boat last night for the second time this summer. The food was excellent both times, although a little pricey. Had burgers the first time, and Chicken quesadila last night.

The view is gorgeous and the martini was perfect!
 
Gilligan's is worth a visit as well. The prices are very reasonable, the portions are generous, the service is good, a great menu selection (even for kids), and the food is excellent. It's not real fancy and the dining room is a bit noisy when full, but certainly a nice addition to the marina area.
 
Yes, we've been to Gilligans about 1/2 dozen times since they've opened. Great fresh seafood, but crowded.
 
OK Hogan what's tonight? I thinking of taking the boat out for dinner and I haven't decided where yet any thoughts? Does Shadows have a restaurant it looks nice but I not sure. Maybe just Stripe Bass I hope the weather holds out.
 
Shadows has a restaurant right at the marina. Haven't been there yet, but it's on the list.
 
Do to the weather we decided to take the car tonight. I haven't been to the new Gilligans so we will give it a try I heard good things.
 
We ended up going to Fireside and had a fantastic dinner!
 
Two thumbs up for Gilligans food was good and company great the waittress had to put up with a lot but she held her own I will deffinetly return.
 
We ended up at the Newburg Boat show since the son had a booth up there. Decided to eat in Billy Joes Ribs (Old Front Street). They did a great job of cleaning the place up and the food was great. Service was also excellent. They have both inside and outside dining. The prices were also very resonable for being on the river.

If you come by boat you can dock at the maina and pay a $20.00 fee. Once you return show them the receipt from Billy Joes and they will refund the money. We will be returning both by land and water!
