There is also a DWI/BWI action coming up. Hopefully they appropriately catch someone instead of merely making a mess out of someone's day.
 
Sounds like a fun weekend on the water!

Having been boarded, inspected and PASSING with flying colors 3 weeks ago I hope my yellow sheet is accepted and I get to pass go without being boarded yet again in one season.
 
We took a day trip yesterday up as far as the Mid-Hudson Bridge., It was a picture perfect day, and our main goal was to burn off fuel in order to have our boat trucked south. Imagine that, . . .our problem was we had to much fuel!!

We left Haverstraw about 10:00 AM, got up on plane right outside the marina entrance and never touched a control until we turned around just north of the bridge. We never saw more than a handful of boats the entire way up, amd never saw any law enforcement at all.

End up back at Croton for a late afternoon snack, and then out to dinner with 10 of our closest friends. All in all a great way to spend one of our last days on the Hudson.

Were your eyes closed going past Stony Point Bay? They were all over!
 
They broke up shortky after the plane crash. I think the CG probably got called down to the scene.
 
I rode past the crash site 10 minutes after the collision. I was monkeying around with my genset, had I not done that I might have been right there when they collided.
