It's been a while - hope everyone had a great winter. Last season I was crippled with a busted out-drive - it all started as a bad u-joint but in the end, I needed a new starboard out-drive. Got one a couple of weeks ago - very expensive! Had it put in last week and but had some major vibration during sea trials, and then as I pulled into the port, the water pump on that side also went. Mechanic thinks it's the flywheel coupling causing the vibs - motor needs to be pulled to repair! So hopefully I'll be rolling sometime next week.

I also plan to redo the entire canvas set. Contacted Great Lake Boat Top in Vonore, TN and plan to order next week. Anyone here ever dealt with them? I hear they are very good. Also, if you have any tips on canvas install, I'll take it - I'm still new at all things boating. Thanks.

make sure u get the 20% off on the canvas
I think it is still on sale. don't wait too long

Purchased new bimini and sunshade, for my 2001 310DA SeaRay, last Fall and installed a couple of weeks ago. Fit like a glove. I was very satisified with the product and the customer service from Great Lakes Canvas. I had to install the canvas snaps (GLC supplied) myself using the snap tool I purchased from GLC. Everything went well. Got a good pricing and quick shipping.

Davefin, thanks for that vote of confidence. My package comes in in a couple of weeks. Do you have any advice on the procedure for installing the snaps? I know I have to put the canvas on and mark the snap locations, but any advice on fabric tension so everything looks nice and taut? I'll take any advice I can get. How long did it take to install everything? Thanks.
