Hello everyone, this is my first of many posts. Let me introduce myself and provide a little background. My wife and I have just purchased a 1992 Maxum 2300 SCR and hope we have not bitten off more than we can chew. We've owned 2 lake boats in the past, a 14' runabout and a 18' bass boat. I guess my greatest concern is the weather. I don't want to end up like the SS Minnow (or worse). I do promise to try not to sound too stupid, but I'm sure you've heard it all before..literally.

Oh yea, our boat is at LocustPoint Marina on the Chesapeake.
