I just bought my second boat, its equipped with a Volvo Duo-prop (DPS) outdrive. The model year is 1999 and its a 5.7L V8
What do I need to remove the props?? I know a special tool from Volvo. Im trying to change the gear oil and the boat is 150 miles away so I want to bring the tools with me when I go up there this weekend.
So far I know the tool from Volvo. Dont I need a hex-tool to loosen the drain plug on the outdrive too?? Will I need a breaker bar or anything to loosen the outer prop bolt??
