The time has come for you once again to act in order to save and preserve our rights as recreational anglers. The California Fish and Game Commission have selected two dates to hear public testimony on the Marine Life Protection Act –the law providing for the establishment of Marine Protected Areas in state waters. We are asking each of you to do two things:
1) Send a letter (email, fax, and hard copy) to the Commission, the Secretary of Resources, Governor Schwarzenegger, and your state senator and assembly member in support of 'Package 1'.
2) Attend one or both of the special Fish and Game Commission hearings on the MLPA again supporting Package 1.
