A friend of mine came to me about which power boat to buy, Hells-Bells we have a Sailboat, what do I know about power, the last power boat I owned was an 18' bass boat in 1988. So like so many others I put the question to the experts on this forum.
Anyway He is interested in a weekender for a family of 3 with very little entertaining, it will be used in the ICW as well as the Keys and possibly some trips to the Bahamas (Abacos and the Exumas).
His purchase budget is around 100k and he has been looking at the 35' Carver Mariners (2000 to 2002) but he is not locked into any MFG or style.
He is not into doing a lot of work himself (like so many working stiffs he has little free time) so something with low maint. will be a must have.
Any suggestions?
