The solenoid on the starter on my starboard Mercuriser 5.7 EFI engine is going bad. The mechanic have used on my other boats is not available. Are there any special hints on removing and replacing the starter? Are any special tools required? The boat is a 2000 Rinker 330 Fiesta Vee. I am familiar with automotive engines and starters.
