I can honestly say that I've never seen so many hit and runs on the road in all my years living in Boston as I do in South Florida. And if that's not bad enough, they do it in the water as well. How could you ram a boat and leave people swimming in cold water? These people should be charged with something more serious than leaving the scene of an accident.

Man who fled after boating accident on Biscayne Bay is arrested, authorities say
A Miami-Dade man has been charged for his role in a hit-and-run boating accident on Biscayne Bay Sunday afternoon that sent two people to the hospital and left a family stranded in the middle of the bay in their sinking boat.
Gustavo Macusse, 31, was taken into custody when his blood-stained boat was spotted docked at a Key Biscayne marina. Agents of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission took Macusse into custody.
Macusse is charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injuries. He has bonded out of jail for $5,000. The incident began Sunday afternoon as Alberto Carralero, his wife and teenage children were boating on Biscayne Bay off Crandon park. Carralero said a speeding boat came up behind him and plowed into the rear of his brand new 26-foot boat Wellcraft, causing heavy damage.
Carralero's boat quickly began to take on water and eventually capsized, spilling everyone into the water.
''He just kept going,'' Carralero told Miami Herald news partner WFOR-CBS4 of the boater who slammed into him.
