Just got a call from the marina in Tuckerton, the boat got there and they will beging prepping it for me to pick up this weekend!!!

We're gettting close...

Congrats! Hope it looks as good in your slip as it did in the previous owner's.

BillyIII is taking care of me, he promises to lead me out...

He does a great job leading you out, but watch out for that invisible magnetic field that causes nuts too loosen just North of Barneget Bay!

If you get to a point following BillyIII where you say WTF, were to close to land, don't worry, he knows his turf.

Best of luck and have a safe trip

Walter

Close to land! My GPS showed us on a island.
Follow him like white on rice!
If he is on plane, you be on plane!
That is one scary channel out of there.
I swear that they ran my boat aground in there before they gave it to me!

Mike, Are you going to see your boat get launched? Make sure they check the shafts and nuts. If you can't be there maybe ask Billy if he can supervise it. Also I think you want high tide to get out of there, so keep that in mind.
What I did was I went down the day before, slept on boat and left real early.
What sort of GPS is on the boat? Make sure you have the right card with all the inlets plotted.

My wife and I are going to take a ride back over to see your boat tomorrow morning. I will send you pictures while I'm still there Mike so if you want another angle or picture of something I don't send just get back to me. I plan on staying until about 1PM. Which day would you like to leave Mike? Long range weather looks good for Friday through Sunday. But when has the weatherman ever been right?
Bill

Bill I'd like to leave fairly early Saturday, how are the tides then?

Dave, I've got a sextant, I don't need no stinking GPS!!

In reality, I do have a GPS on the boat, and a hand held back-up, along with charts for the whole trip.

Mike have a great trip, May your nuts stay tight and your shaft straight. Enjoy look forward to weeing the new addition to the local Trojan fleet.

Mike hopefully you have a chart plotter with the charts as well. AND, good luck, have a safe trip! passageweather.com has some rougher water moving in then. Of course it can change.

Ouch 10am low tide.

First ride out from the dock will be a real nail biter.

Good luck with the new ride Mike.

Actually some of those twigs are painted red and green!
Its where the expression, "living out in the sticks" comes from!

The sticks have been replaced Dave. Now there are too many! Mike I'm down took a ton of pictures I hope I don't overload your e-mail account. I also sent you an e-mail. I'm still here and will be for about another 45 minutes let me know if you want me to do or take any additional pictures for you. We will definately want to leave on a rising tide and I am going to need daylight it looks like your boat draws almost 5 feet looking at the waterline on the boat.
Bill

Bill, I won't be able to access my email until after 6 PM, I'll shoot you one back then. Thanks, look forward to meeting you, checking out your boat and navigating the sticks.

Looks like you'll be stuck with us Friday night and at least a good portion of Saturday!

No problem Mike I can show you some of what I have done and you can decide if it's what your looking for then I can point you in the right direction. If the pictures get bounced by your e-mail let me know and I will send them zipped.
Bill
