Why cant you find a 12 foot wide x what ever the lenght you need roll of the Holly Teak. Everything comes in 72'' dont they know that most boats are wider then 6 feet!!
I am looking for the Holly teak flooring.
I would like to do this in one roll.
12 feet wide x 15 would work great but I cant find 12 feet wide.

any help would be greatful

You might want to ask this question on "Ask the Captain" or "Marine Detailing". It's not really a Sea Ray issue.

I have some sample from Lonseal, www.lonsealspecialty.com/lonwdteakholly.html and they look very good.

Only comes in 6' though.

How do you clean this floor?
Can you use Acetone? Just kidding.

They do look sharp, would be interested in hearing from someone who has had it for a few years to see how it holds up.

Only on the "stubborn scuff marks", LOL!!!

It appears that it will hold up rather well, it's quite thick.

Yeah, but what do you clean it with?
Your gonna get scuff marks, dirt, etc.
May even spill something on it.

I am leary of new products that have not had good long term use in the market.

I once put a new vinyl tile floor in my kitchen made by Armstrong, within 1 year this floor was scratched, chipped, and faded. I contacted Armstrong and they replaced the whole floor, but would not cover the labor. It was a bitch to get this floor unglued, then surface clean, then I had to redo the whole floor. The second floor, which was the same product with a new formulation held up better.

I'm guessing you use a standard floor cleaner on it, just like sheet flooring products you would use at home. The stuff isn't real wood, it's a flexible vinyl sheet/roll, similar to Linoleum but it looks very realistic.

I think this Lonseal flooring has been around a while. I saw it in Florida at a marine wood/venner supply house a few years ago and they said the product was great, holds up well.

Armstrong products suck.......a few years ago...I had the same fading problem happen to my new kitchen vinyl floor..... The rep told me it was from the " glare off the water " and it voided my warrantee. Armstrong out...... new wood in !

NICE............

Thank you for your input.
Every product that you guys and gals said are all the same, 6' wide only.
I might keep the carpet in the Salon and use a teak laminate in the Gally area.
My friend just purchased a Mainship and the floors look great. With a 11 year old and 6 year old I thought having laminate or vinyl
would hold up better then Carpet.

cwms. you are correct, this is not the spot for this.
Thank you

Laugh if you want about the Lonseal product. That stuff cost 45$ a linear foot.
