Hoped to start working on the boat by now but it looks like it will be April before we have a chance for Spring to arrive. 8-10 inches of snow predicted for tomorrow. At least we are not in New England.

Well, today was 81, bright and sunny and the fish were biting. What winter exactly are you talking about?

Bob

Yeah, been in the 60's/70's here...but we don't want to rub it in.

But then, maybe ya'll gonna have to re-evaluate right coast/ wrong coast.

yeh..Charlie. I knew you don't wanna rub it in. :0)

We'll revisit this thread when hurricane season hits FL or when the Fire/flood/Mudslide/Shaky seasons hits CA. ;)

As I recall the north east has had its share of hurricanes from time to time too but it always has winter.

Not withstanding the snow the temperatures have been abnormally low. I can't wait for Spring this cold weather kills my tired back.

Its 50 deg on the Eastern Shore today when we crossed the Rte 213 over the Chester River. There were icebergs floating down the river. Granted they were probable no larger than a sheet of plywood and only a few inches think but we'll still call them icebergs around here.

Yeah, the Upper Chesapeake from the Bay Bridge north is closed due to ice flows. Granted I've only been boating on the Bay for about 15 years but this is the first time I've heard that happening. And there is a hell of a lot of ice moving around out there!
