Not hot today but the wind at the marina this morning was nuts. Flags on a houseboat on the service dock were bending their poles!! But oddly..the water out on the river was pretty calm. Weird day!

We spent Sat with the Jersey crowd. The local radio station sponsored a band. They had a barge in the bay all boats rafted around it. I'm guessing there were 500 boats. It was a ZOO.

Rafted up in Bowline with most of our dockmates. Spent the day in the water, and scaping barnacles off the boat.

Great day to be on/in the water.

I'm still in Bowline in the rain waiting for the tide to come up it's almost 5pm and low tide is 5:23 I will have to wait until 7:30 before I return. It's dead calm and there are all of three other boats here. It a great time to take a nap.

Ya, but now its great out there. Suns out and no wind...

We got back up the river just past the TZ when the rain hit. Buttoned up (loving the cockpit air) and headed in making it to the slip around 3p. Gotta tell ya, the run coming back today in the ocean doing 40 mph in a light following sea was awesome. Kids were watching Spongebob, wife was relaxing by my side, the sun was shining, and the motors were purrin'.
