How do I access the fwd head exhaust fan?

Carver 440. Anyone know how to access the fwd head fan? It appears to be located behind the mirrors in the head compartment but I don't see any way to remove the mirrors. The drawings show a hatch located in the shower and there is a panel with four screws but it is tightly fit and well caulked and looks too low to access the fan. There is no hatch in the normal sense as there is for the washer dryer access on the opposite side of the shower.

The engineers and designers give little thought to the guys in the field who have to twist, turn and contort ourselves into pretzels in an attempt to /service/repair/replace components.
