Anybody knows how long you can dock a boat at Bayside?
I usually stay there for a couple of hours for dinner, but I wonder if a boat can stay overnight at that dock.
I don't think it's the marina that manages that dock, so I wonder if it's the city.

Thanks

Harry, I stopped at Bayside on New Year's Eve and they charged $20 to dock, instead of the usual $10. I stayed overnight and got a warning ticket for docking without permission, in spite of what the dock guys told me a few weeks back. There were several other boats that stayed overnight there.

New Year's Day at Bayside **8:45am.

A warning ticket? So, it's not permitted.
Someone told me that there is a small anchorage area very close by.
Too bad I could not make it there. My wife had a last minute inconvenience and we were behind schedule so we decided to stay at Lake Sylvia.
From the pic you posted I can see most people were gone. You are lucky you only got a warning.
See you next time.

Yeah, I guess so. But I would have fought it if there was a fine, since I have the receipt for $20 I paid to park. I would have stayed in the same spot where I watched the fireworks, but it was very windy and I was afraid my anchor might drag when I'm sound asleep. Could end up on the boulders at Bayfront.

Also, this makes twice I've asked 2 separate dockers there if the pump-out station is working. Both times the answer was "yes." When I asked how much to pumpout, both times the answer was "oh, it's not working." Left me wondering if these guys are programmed. Or, maybe I talk funny.
